MEC, based in Mondovì, was founded in 1966 with the goal of building equipment for trucks. Sensing the market evolutions, it immediately specialised in the construction of powerful arms for the loading of scrap and loose materials. It was one of the first companies in Europe to understand that to collect these types of materials, special robust arms were required in order to load and handle waste inside the truck container.
